Carlos Alexandre Fernandes

Graduated in Biological Sciences from UEM (2000); master’s in Biological Sciences with concentration in Cell Biology from UEM (2003); and PhD in Biological Sciences with concentration in Cell Biology from UEM (2006). Has experience in genetics, focusing on cytogenetics and molecular genetics of fish. He is a participant in the Cytogenetics and Mutagenesis of Fish and Chromosomal Research in Mato Grosso do Sul research groups of CNPq and the Environmental Sciences and Education Study Group – GEAMBE, and serves as reviewer of several national and foreign journals. He is currently an Adjunct Professor with Exclusive Dedication to the Department of Biotechnology, Genetics and Cell Biology at UEM.
